Methods
We conducted dozens of interviews with people in Brookville Park on different days of the week and at different times of day in the summer of 2025. These interviews sought to assess their current understandings of the maintenance the New York City Parks Department had performed in October of 2024 to eventually inform and provide recommendations for community-driven communication/signage on this management.
